Wanted!! Please help!

Hello Biuties!
Today I'm close to desperation...
Remember my Paperchase pen holder with the butterfly design?
Well I need another one and my local Paperchase shops have sold out :(
So I'm appealing to you guys, if anyone can find me one it would be perfect! I would of course send you back a paypal or arrange a repayment of your convenience for all your trouble. The hubby tried to convince me I don't need it but I just can't imagine having 2 different pen holders on my table... (am I crazy or weird!?)

Send me an email :)

Ebay Fuckery of the Week!

Hello biuiful people!!
Last week on Ebay Fuckery I exposed some of the fake MAC makeup you will find on ebay.
This week I'm was on the hunt for unusual and plain weird products that you might need (or not!)in your kitchen!

#5
Traditional British Fish and ChipsI'm baffled.. this will be sent from the UK to America by air mail.
Although it will be sent frozen god only knows how frozen it will be when it arrives.
The reason for this auction "is so you can share the great traditional British meal"
$9 for soggy fish & chips... YUCK! SMH!

#4
Japanese SUSHI Cell phone Strap,SalmonAlthough its not from the kitchen so to speak its still a damn fuckery!
That thing looks real as well! Its just weird..
Why would someone want a sushi hanging from their phone??? and pay $35 for it as well!!SMDH!
At least the shipping is free :D lol

#3
Jane Norman Carrier / Store BagAgain, not something for the kitchen but it just had to be in the list...
Maybe its just me but I don't understand people selling used carrier bags... why?!! And you'll have to actually bid for it. At the mo' its £0.99 and shipping is a whopping £2!!
You have 4 days and 21hours to make up your mind...
Definitely some fuckery going on here...

#2
Summertime grilled steam fishI just don't know what to say about this... what does it even mean???!!
Steamed fish... on ebay... would you buy??!
And the pic doesn't even make it appetizing!
Bids start at £9 and £0.75 for shipping!
You have 35 mins left... HURRY!

#1 Ebay Fuckery of the week:

Kellogg's Cornflakes 500gI don't know what to say about this...
Who would buy Cornflakes on ebay???

Is that 50??

Last night while browsing the internet I stumbled upon this picture
There was something familiar about that face...
Then I read that it was 50 Cent...OMG!
He looks so ill and tired and in bad shape its quite scary!
I don't like the man or his music but I felt so sorry for him when I saw this pic.
But it was short lived as he had to lose the pounds for a movie role. He's playing a football player suffering from cancer and I have to say the accuracy of the way he looks to the situation is disturbing but spot on.

The guy lost 54 pounds in 9 weeks... yes, weeks!!!! All thanks to a liquid diet (YUCK!!) and loads of walking... Talk about extreme!!

Do you guys think its just too much or its ok to go to such extremes for our entertainment?

Sex And The City 2... Here I come!

Hello Biuties!
I haven't been talking about the SATC new movie, old movie or even the tv series, but you have to know I am such a fan!!Even thought I only discovered it only about 4-5 years ago, I watched every single episode from the series, rented them all and put the hubby through hell asking him questions that an episode would raise or blatently accusing him of cheating because for some reason an episode made me see that there were "signs" lol. I was a complete nut!
When the first movie came out I dragged the hubby to see it with me. Its definitely not his kind of movie but what can I say I'm irresistible lol
Anyways he fell asleep during the movie, I didn't even care and actually forgot he was there with me... how rude of him!!
This time round I'm still determined to drag him with me.
He forces me to watch all those Kung-Fu movies and this is my revenge :)

It comes out tomorrow in my local cinema. The first screening is a 12 and I shall be in the best sit in the house with some popcorn and a stupid grin on my face :)

Will you be going to see the movie and if so who are you talking with you??
Or you just can't be bothered and will wait for the dvd release...

FOTD

I don't know what happened in the middle of the night last night but when I woke up this morning my skin was glowing like crazy.
Don't ask me what I did I have no clue! But me likey!!!
I wish it could be like that every day.
Anyways here's what I looked like today.
I don't even remember what I have on my eyes as I did it quite early this morning.
I use the Fashion Fair foundation with my 190 MAC foundation brush for the first time and I have to say I was very impressed on how smooth the application was.
As a highlight I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC45 (I'm usually a NC50 I look like a ghost with a NC45 all over the face!!) and again I was amazed by the result! I've definitely found my killer combination.

Collective haul!

Hello Biuties!
It is early morning and I'm getting ready to get down to London for the day (Thank goodness its only a 40 minutes train ride!!)
But before I leave I wanted to post something so you guys can think of me today :D (How vain in that! lol just kidding)
Here are a few things I've got in the past few weeks:

I was the winner of Rachel's (Lady Danger) fabulous giveaway. (Go check her out!!)
And my prize was 2 MAC products of my choice.
I've been so into lipstick this month (bought 5 MAC lipies - Me think another ban is in order...)
So I picked 2 more lipies to join the others in the overcrowded lipstick box..
I picked Ruby Woo (red) and Rebel (plummy pink). I wanted to pick Girl About Town but didn't because I thought it was similar to Petals & Peacocks which I already have, then someone told me that they aren't similar at all.
So guess what lipstick I'll buy next :DIt was all in a really pretty pink box and she included such a sweet word for me. She made me a very happy lady and I think the hubby is still jealous of that lol
Thank you so much Rachel for this!

Next I bought a few 28 slot magnetic palettes from Stars Makeup Haven and this was before I knew that there is a UK website selling these. But it still was cheaper for me to buy these in the US as I paid £39 for the lot including shipping and with 58 magnetic pans!!
I used 1 palette for all my Inglot e/s, 1 for the other random e/s I have and the last one for the pressed pigments (BarryM, OCC, Sleek, MUA). I still need to get a last MAC palette.

Palettes with the magnets were $17 and without the magnets $15
I got 2 with magnets and 1 without and they gave me 6 free ones.
Also included in the package was a free e/s they sent me which ended up in the bin as it was broken beyond repair and I didn't like the color anyways.Inglot palette
Random palette (MAC e/s & pigment, BarryM pigment)

The way they packaged the items was truly appalling!
I wish I had taken pictures now.
They were in this envelope that didn't have any bubble wrap protection in it, the pallettes weren't wrapped in anything, they were just in these transparent plastic sleeves, the pans were in a kind of carrier bag bouncing everywhere and worst of all was the eyeshadow wasn't wrapped in anything besides a plastic case and was left to move freely and be crushed by the palettes and the 58 pans.. you get the image!
That eyeshadow exploded everywhere! I still have some on my carpet!
Needless to say i wasn't happy at all with that. You know you are sending something on the other side of the world why not wrap the items accordingly?? At least put the pans and the eyeshadow in the palettes, at least buble wrap the whole thing!!!
I definitely complained and till this day no answer... Its a shame because I would have bought from them again but right now its a huge NOOOO!

Onto happier thing :D
The next thing I got was from Wayne at Gossmakeupartist.blogspot.comI got a full MAC palette with eyeshadow for £60! (RRP £146 minimum - Bargain!)
There are colors in there which were in my wishlist,
some that I already have
some that I would have never thought of buying but that I absolutely love
and of course some to whom I'm still giving blank stares... lol

Where/How to start with makeup

Hello Biuties!
Today i want to talk about how I started with makeup and my advice on where to begin.
This is just my personal opinion and advice based on how I started.
  1. First of all I think the most important thing is to find is your foundation. This can be such a struggle but stay patient and positive there is a match for you out there!
  • When you get started I think your money should go on foundation. Not only is it for the most visible part of your face but if you get it wrong EVERYONE will notice.
  • Make sure that it's a good match and that your skin accepts it (no break-outs, too oily, too drying ect.)
A good way to start is with your drugstore brands.
  • They are quite cheap and some have received rave reviews
  • You can also decide whether you prefer liquid foundation, mineralize, powder or cream foundation. Drugstore brands have a wide variety of shades and although it is harder for women of colour to find a good match there are brands that can definitely make you happy like Sleek.
  1. Setting powder is also something you want to invest in. A bad one might change the colour of your foundation even if it was a perfect match, it might be too drying or cakey. Again research and research.
It doesn't hurt to ask for samples (not in drugstores but in brand stores like MAC, NARS, Bobb Brown ect.)
A setting powder will help your foundation to stay put and will remove any excess shine. There are tons of setting powders, some loose, some compact, some that will help with blemishes or that have a transparent finish. Again its all a game to trial and error.

  1. Concealers are also important depending on what you want to conceal. Even after a year of searching I still haven't found a concealer that I am happy with. I just want to conceal the dark areas under my eyes and searching for that perfect concealer is a bitch! But I have faith I will find it one day :D

The 3 products above are definitely the base that you have to get right.
When it comes to types of application (brushes, sponges, fingers ect) again use what is more comfortable to you, its not because your favorite youtuber uses brushes to apply their foundation that you have to!

  1. Speaking of brushes... you can start with the cheap ones and when you feel ready buy the more "professional" ones. Keep in mind that its not because a brush is cheap that its bad and vice- versa. There are cheap brushes out that there that are the bomb! Crown brushes do cheap and beautiful brushes, Sigma does good cheap brushes as well.
On the other hand when buying the more expensive brushes that receive rave reviews can save you money right from the start as you know that they work and that they will stay with you for a looong time. The cheaper one won't necessarily pass the test of time.
So it kind of depends on you, do you want to buy the good ones now or start with the cheaper ones and then upgrade.
I personally don't have many MAC brushes, most of my brushes are from Sigma and I'm happy with them at the moment so don't want to buy anymore at the moment (even though I constantly dream of more Crown brush brushes!)

  1. Now lets move on to palettes.
I definitely think that when you start with makeup don't buy the expensive stuff from the start. I think that you want to experiment with shades, color combination and finishes first. You want to know which kind of colours you prefer, which shades you like best. Imagine you spend your money on a mac eyeshadow just to find that you don't like it and that it doesn't even show on your eyes... That happened to me and I was pissed!!!

If you watch my videos you will know that I love everything that comes in a palette. Palette are compact, easy to move and store but most of all they offer you variety in front of your eyes. It definitely makes it easier for me to use my makeup. Imagine all of the eyeshadows I have were in their individual packaging!! It would just be a nightmare to do anything!

There are tons of palettes available at good prices on ebay, Coastal Scents or Stars makeup Haven. Also check out brands like Sleek, Beauty UK and of course NYX just to name a few.
Don't think that because a palettes is cheap the colours aren't pigmented or won't last long! There are great cheap palettes or eyeshadows that have colors you wouldn't find as pigmented somewhere else.
Yep its all about pigment, not brand, price or "look" of the palette.
When I say palette I also mean single eyeshadows of course.

There are also blush palettes and lip palettes. Again it will help in determining what shades goes best with your skintone and what shades you prefer on yourself.
The 28 blush palette I have was soo helpful, I used the bright colours, dark oranges and burn orange colours a lot and these are the ones I tend to go for the most when buying new blushes/lipstick.

The only downfall with these cheap palettes or products is the fact that you don't get all the finishes you might get with higher brands. You only tend to get shimmery or matte finishes when there is a lot more out there.

  1. Now for the other random stuff,
For me mascaras aren't that big of a deal. I love my drugstore brand mascaras. Bourjois is definitely my favorite brand for mascaras and I honestly don't feel like I need to try out the pricier ones like YSL or Lancome. I might only try them if I get them for free lol. Cheap brands do work, its just a question of finding which one works for you.

I think the most important advise I would give would be to read, watch, and listen!
Read different blogs for reviews, updates on certain brands, products and general ideas on looks to achieve.

Watch
youtube videos. Lots of them! They are a great resource for advice, reviews and looks. This is where I have learned the most, from how to apply mascara to how to contour/hightlight.

Listen
to all the advice specially when it comes to cleaning your products and brushes. You don't want to catch something nasty!

There I'm finished :D
I hope this video was helpful to you guys!!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Ebay Fakery

Hello Biuties!
ITS FRIDAYYYYYY! and this can only mean one thing: sleep :D or sun and shopping, whatever you fancy...
This morning I was on ebay checking out some stuff and every time I type MAC on ebay I find the most bizarre "genuine" MAC items. And that really pisses me off to see people selling things that are clearly not MAC. But what pisses me even more are the ridiculous prices. If you're aware that its not MAC fine but I still wouldn't pay that amount of money for something that fake.
So I thought I'd do a weekly "Ebay Fuckery" post :D
I have to admit I also got fooled a few times who hasn't right? just be careful and know exactly what you are bidding for.
(Click on the name of the product to go to their ebay page)

And those labels and the name of the pigments I mean COME ON!!!

#1 Ebay Fuckery of the week:

Randomness rant...

Hello Biuties!
This is a random post so I'm warning you it will be strange lol.
Yesterday I was supposed to record 2-3 videos, however after after 5 minutes of filming the camera's battery died on me :( booooo!!
Yep I was pissed and the hubby was just laughing at how pissed I got, cursing and giving the battery the evil eye!
So no video :( and no post as well since I've spent the whole day lazying in bed doing nothing and watching crappy tv. Have you noticed how day time tv is so rubbish I actually started getting depressed by the programs!!!
I was so bored I started knitting again. Well its not really knitting, its called crochet.
I started to do a blanket last summer and just forgot about it because of the wedding and having to move and all that. So I spent my afternoon knitting... I feel so old lol.

Anyways yeah I just wanted to post something and say hi to you guys and how much I appreciate all the feedback good or bad and all the love.
And hello to my new followers!!!
Honestly I don't say that enough but I love you guys!
There's so much love and positivity and acceptance as well and I'm happy to be a part of it. The hubby thinks its funny how concentrated I am when reading different blogs and how I talk to him about some bloggers and some articles.
The first thing I do when I wakeup is take my ipod, check my emails and then go on blogger and see the posts I haven't read yet. Its my morning routine and I'm addicted lol.
If you have a blog and I don't follow it just comment with your link and I'll follow. I love following blogs and even though I don't often comment I read them! Just have a look at the blogs I follow on the right hand side of the blog and see if yours is there.
Also if I don't follow you on twitter send me your dets and we shall get connected!

Oh and I'm moving soon :) we haven't set a date yet but in July I shall be on a beach in the West Indies cocktails in hand and starting a new life with the love of my life! I'm so so excited and trust me I've already checked out the makeup stores available!
I'll write a post about all that soon anyways.

Finally I put up a poll on the top right hand side of the blog, yesterday while looking at my makeup I was wondering how much is everything I have worth... I stopped counting after 2 minutes it was just getting scary at that point. Then I got thinking about my wishlist and how much I would need to eradicate it. And here's what I've come up with: 2750... for now lol
But millions would be more like it :)
So if you have time please answer the poll:
How much is your wishlist worth?

Hope you had a beautiful day and now its time for cocktails!

Skincare overview/routine

Hello Biuties!
I often get a few questions asking me what I use daily on my face, and here are all the dets!
This will also act as a tiny review on those products I use.

First of all I have to say that I wasn't into face care until about a year ago when I started playing with my makeup. So I'm definitely no expert!
Before that that the only product I had for my face was a face wash and a moisturizer and that is it. It worked pretty well for me but as you get older (not that I'm super old or anything) your face needs a little more tlc. I used to wash my face twice everyday and exfoliating was a word that came from mars.
When I started with makeup and after watching tons and tons of makeup videos and reading on how people take care of their skin it kind of just clicked in my head that I might need a bit more and since then here's what I do.

In the morning I wash my face, use a toner and moisturize.
In the evening I wash my face, use a cleansing lotion and moisturize.

As you can see not a lot has changed but the changes do make a difference.
Once in a while I use a facial mask (when I remember to) and as far as serums or special "products" go I don't even go there. I think the skincare industry is becoming soo confusing and keeping it simple for me is the key. The simpler your routine is the more you get out of it I think. I have this idea in the back of my head that if you use too much different products on your face it will just get confused and the mixing of all the chemicals will screw up the purposes of the products. That's my opinion anyways...

As far as the products I use go, I pretty much stick to a single brand and that is the "Simple" range. It was the first skin brand that I bought and I've stayed with it since. I'm so glad I didn't have to go through the whole trial and error phase to find the right product for me. This range was an instant hit for me.
They have a variety of products for different skin types (normal, oily, sensitive, wrinkle control...) and they also do shampoos, conditioners, soaps and lotions and baby products as well.

Here's what I use:
Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating WashIt has tiny exfoliating particles that make it fine to use everyday. Since I have oily skin my pores get a lot of buildup (dead skin cells, sweat, dirt ect...) during the day so exfoliating everyday helps remove all that excess and lift them up from the pores. A facial exfoliator is softer than an facial scrub. A scrub is to be used once or twice a week whereas an exfoliator can be used everyday or according to the product specification.
I really LOVE this product, its 2 in 1 and after using it you can definitely feel how soft your face is, my skin feels clean and clear!
It comes out clear in a gel like form and you can see the tiny exfoliating particles. There is definitely nothing wrong I can say about this. It doesn't have any smell which makes the whole experience pleasant.
(I use it once every morning, at night I use another product)

Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner
I love this, it contains chamomile which soothes the skin and you can definitely feel it work on your face. The purpose of a toner is to cleanse, shrink pores, contract, firm or tighten & strengthen the skin.
While doing some research I found this
"Toners for the treatment of oily skin usually contain alcohol, but look for those that contain acetone as well. Rubbing alcohol can also be used, but it may be a little too harsh for individuals with more sensitive skin. Sensitive skin individuals can try witch hazel, which is less harsh on the skin. Alcohol can dry out the skin significantly. For individuals with very oily skin, this is not a problem."
This is wrong in sooo many levels, DO NOT USE ALCOHOL ON YOUR FACE! no matter what your skin type is! People with oily skin just really avoid anything with alcohol and acetone. By using alcohol your are changing the PH balance and removing moisture on your face and to get that balance right again your skin will produce a lot more oil as fast as it can. You then end up with more oil on your face than when you started... so please don't! I always try to go with something that has less than 10% alcohol in it, that product has really become my enemy and that is why I keep on banging about it!
I only use this in the morning to help my skin look a bit more "alive"Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion
Again I really like this, after using it with a cotton pad I can see it work, the residues left on the pad speaks volume! Everything that the facial wash hasn't removed this product is sure to get it all out! After all it's its job right! After applying it the skin does feel a bit tacky but that is normal and the sensation fades away in a matter of minutes.
I only use it at night to remove all the nastiness of the day.

Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser
First of all I have to say say that no matter your skin type you need to use a moisturizer, without moisture, the skin will not remain smooth and supple. The face is exposed to the drying effect of the weather, so moisturizers -- which form a film over the skin -- contain and augment the natural moisture.
Think about a tomato that has been in the oven for as little as 10 minutes. Its skin will be all wrinkled and saggy because the heat of the oven has taken all the moisture out. That is what basically happens to your face, moisturizers help your skins moisture stay put and adds a bit more to it. Most aging creams are just full of some sort of humecant (honey, glycerin) to help the moisture stay in and the more moisture you get the more the elasticity of your skin remains and the longer those wrinkles stay at bay!
Although I have oily skin I still use a rich moisturizer just because this one doesn't add oil to my face or makes my face produce even more oil. I use it specially during the winter when a moisturizer for oily skin isn't moisturizing enough and makes my skin feels super dry.
This has to be emphasized, its not because you have oily skin that you can only use products for oily skin! there are very good products out there that are for normal skin and that work just as well for oily skin.During the summer I sweat a lot so this moisturizer is just too much for my skin. so I use this one: Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser which is one of my staples. It keeps the shininess at bay and still moisturizes pretty well.

From the Simple range I also have cleansing wipes and eye makeup remover, I love the wipes as they are not drying and don't drag the makeup on you face!

This range has done wonders for my skin and there is no way I'm changing the products I use. My skin isn't as oily as before and my wallet is a happy bunny :D

This post is already so long! but there's one last product to talk about and its my night facial wash: Amie's Morning Clear Purifying facial washBecause I use an exfoliating facial wash in the morning I just just think it would be too much to use it at night as well. Its for younger skin (teenagers) so I like it as it will have minimum impact on my face and still work for me. At first it was strange using it as it feels like you are washing your face with a moisturizer on a wet face and a couple of times I felt like I had to check that it was really a facial wash as the consistency of it was really strange for me. But after getting over it I quite like it. It definitely doesn't leave my face dried up and most importantly cleanse well!
Amie is a brand that caters for young skins (teenagers) therefore its very gentle and is less prone to do much harm to my skin.

There you go I'm done!

My best advise for you guys is to find something that first of all works for you.
Don't just keep using it because the bottle says it works or because everyone loves it.
If it doesn't work dump it and move on.
Also try things that are out of your skin type, you never know you might end up being surprised!
Things that I think you shouldn't skip on are facial wash and moisturizer, your face is the most visible part of your body and what people look at first (in most cases lol) so take care of it and treat it as gently as possible.

Hope this helped :D

Makeup links

I want to make you guys spend today lol so I'm sharing a few links to site that I think have good products with a friendly price tag...

Lovemakeup-
She sells a bunch of NYX products as well as Red Cherry lashes and other brands. I actually bought some lashes from her TWICE!
The NYX round lipsticks sell for $1.75 each (cheapest price on the web I could find) and there are swatches!!!! Its definitely a change seeing them on someone's skin as opposed to a generic shade shown on most websites.
The downfall: when you look at the pictures of some shades you notice the other shades that are swatched on the same picture and that's when you see other shades that you have to have! Its a beautiful vicious circle and at that price I'm happy to buy more than I have to...
She also sells NYX jumbo pencils, eyeshadow, lip pencils, eyelashes and more.
Shipping is a really good price and I was impressed! So just have a look and buy :D

Nonpareil boutique-
The website sells a bunch of makeup and accesories, again NYX is there, Milani, LA colors and more.
The reason this site in this list is because they have a 20% off all NYX products and it ends TONIGHT!! NYX Ultra Pearl Mania pigments (check the internet for reviews but they are apparently great) are just $1.50 and that excludes the 20% discount... you see where this is going right...
Just go ahead and indulge...!

Cherry Culture-
It a bit the same as Nonpareil Boutique except is bigger and with a lot more brands. You find your standards like NYX, LA colors, Milani and more. In my experience they are quite good with shipping and often have offers. I'm just waiting for their 50% OFF sale... They had one in November I believe so I just need them to do another one and I'm set.
Do have a look at other brands, Jordana pencils are quite good and I love my Amuse USA lip liners!

All of the shops above are American but they ship internationally so there is no excuse!

For my UK ladies here are a few shops that are worth having a look:

Love Makeup-
A fabulous online shop in which you have some MAC limited edition products, some discontinued products, you have some NYX as well as Stila and more. Prices are really reasonable and you can also purchase MAC pigment samples.
This website is on this list because of the recent brand they added to their stock.
Stars Makeup Haven.
They have a website and ship worldwide but having it in the UK means less time waiting and more time shopping :) The prices are really reasonable as well compared to what they cost in $. What I am most looking forward to are the empty palettes. They are magnetic and you get 28 slots (26mm) to hold your NYX e/c as well as MAC e/s. The key word here is "magnetic". Why bother with buying a non magnetic palette, then buy magnetic sheets, and magnetic labels for your eyeshadows when you can buy them already magnetised and for the same price as a MAC 15 slot palette... Its a no brainer for me!
So go check out the empty palettes (12 & 28 slots available for e/s & 8 slot available for blushes)
And they have a wide range of eyeshadow colors as well which are receiving rave reviews.
I only have 1 e/s pf theirs at the mo' but plan on getting more! And I can't wait for my palettes to arrive (bought them from the US before I knew this website had them :(
Go on and fill up your basket!
I just checked and the 28 slot palettes are sold out, lets hope they get stocked soon!

Cocktail Cosmetics-
Its a similar site as the one above, they have similar product but with slight price change and what you can't find on the other side you just might find it here and vice-versa. I love these sites because you can get a hold on past MAC collection as well as discontinued products. And they already have a few of the MAC "To The Beach" collection stuff.
Don't just have a browse, spend something!

And the last link is for the lovely ladies at The Makeup Artist Boutique. If you don't know about this website yet then I'm afraid you've been living under a rock somewhere in the middle of the ocean :( They sell OCC lip tars, Yaby products and more stuff. A lot of us are really happy to have these ladies in our lives as we can finally stop drooling over what is on the other side of the pond! They also have frequent offers, promotions and don't bite :D
At the moment everything in the store is 10% off (don't know when it ends but take advantage now!)
Go on and have a splurge, I know you want to!!
Oh and they also have a website (Emma) in which they share tips and tricks and have giveaways so go follow! www.promakeupartistblog.blogspot.com

Ok I'm done being evil and encouraging you to spend :)
I just wanted to share where I'm spending my time online lol
Even if you don't get anything now, bookmark, subscribe, follow for the future or you can just wait for that massive sale. I'm still hoping for an 80% off sale on one of those sites, that would be epic right!!?

Lotsa love!

Debenhams Summer Spectacular

Hello Biuties!
Just to let you all know that Debenhams is having up to 25% off sale on everything both online and in-store. If that isn't enough a reason for you to buy something there is also free delivery! (I suspect only for UK addresses they do however ship internationally now)
However the offer ends on Saturday so hurry! How is that of interest to you I hear you say...
Well makeup of course!
On the website they sell Illamasqua, Urban Decay and Nails Inc. just to name a few and there are pretty good deals on those, lets you save a few pounds... Also if there is a perfume you've been eying for some time now they are on sale! Just have a browse and pick something up (yes I am an enabler and proud of it! )
Gotta love a good Debenhams sale...

Music Monday!

Heellooo people!
I hope you had a fantastic weekend despite the rain (in the UK)
I almost forgot about Music Monday! how dare me!!!
Anyways this week its Joss Stone!
Love her first & second albums, then it went a bit downhill... nonetheless she has a fantastic voice and I love love those first albums of hers!

Another makeup storage solution!

Hello Biuties!
I found something to help keep my single eyeshadows and MAC blushes in place in my drawers and it prevents them from moving/rolling!Now I'm curious and what to explore biscuit trays lol.
Anyways I think its a good idea, it saves space and keeps everything nice and tidy :)

Neutral Office look!

Hello Biuties!
This is was a request from chibu74 on youtube (Hiya!!).
She asked me for some subtle office looks.
This look is really simple and not adventurous at all.
I have never worked in an office so this is just my interpretation of what I would do.
This is definitely a base and you can build up from it with easily.
But all is explained below!
Can I just say I adore my brow bone highlighter !!
Here's what I would do:
Simple neutral eye, maybe do a neutral smoky eye once in a while. For more colors on the eyes I would just use a single eyeshadow color on the lid, nothing too extravagant though (no neon colors lol).
I would also play with eyeliner colors but not with anything too bright like fuchsia or turquoise blue. Dark blues, plum colors would be perfect.
I would play around with blush colors, go with the subtle colors like "Tippy" or "Gilda", pinky, peachy shades, and I would definitely stay away from the bright colors like "Exhibit A".
On the lips I would go crazy with bright pinks and reds but I would probably stay away from purples. A nude lip would also be perfect.

As I say in the video, it also all depends on your company's policy.
You probably won't be allowed to wear purple lipstick and electric blue eyshadow if you work in a Gucci shop, on the other hand if you work in a drugstore you may get away with it.
Also it depends if your work involves interacting with the public. If you have to meet clients, serve people etc, a toned down look would be more appropriate.

I thinks that's all I have to say really....
I hope this helped you in some way and of course keep the requests coming :D
