I'll be MIA for a while

Hi guys!

Just a quick post to let you all know I might be MIA for the rest of the week as I've got to concentrate on some admin stuff I need to sort out as well as find a freight company to take my stuff all the way to the Caribbean. fun fun fun!
I'll still try to post some FOTD and a few videos but I'm not promising anything.
Oh and according to my consulate card that I received today I was born 18/02/2012 which is absolutely ridiculous! And that same card that I applied for last week expired on the 18/02/2010... yeah. Sorry but my people are just hopeless. And that mistake cost me £50 and the price of a train ticket to London.
Don't know if I should just laugh it off or cry...
Urgh life!

Collective haul [Picture heavy!]

Hello Biuties!

Yesterday I was in London as I had a few documents to pick up. Had some spare time so I decided to go "check out" (Yeah I actually believed I would get out empty handed) Selfridges & Denbenhams on Oxford Street.
I received a Selfridges gift card from my lovely sister for christmas and decided it was time to make it sweat!
Isn't guilt free shopping the best?! Not having to tell yourself "I shouldn't, he'll kill me, step away from the counter!!"

I'm so happy with what I got and enough with words, lets see some pictures!

Here's what I got online from this shop: LoveMakeup. Great seller and the shipping is next day delivery so no complaints there!
There are a few stuff on there I've been eyeing from some time, specially the Devil blush from MAC (6 months in the waiting!!!), I still want some stuff but I'm on a spending ban so it will have to wait...

Quick update!

Hello Biuties!

I feel like its been ages since I've put something on here and I just felt like I needed to let you all know what has been going on.

First of I'm so happy that I've passed the 150 followers mark!!
Huge pat on the back to all of yous and myself.
I promised a giveaway and its on its way. I already bought a few stuff and just need to pick up a few more. So no worries, its on its way.
I have a haul video that I'll put up tomorrow, I've been shopping (yes again) but it was guilt free so it was x10 better! But I won't buy anything else until April... unless its a present... or I REALLY need it... (yeah I don't believe that either but I'll try)
I also have a few review videos that I have to make. But first I need to rediscover my camcorder as I definitely need better image quality.

Now onto the bad stuff!
One of my tooth has been hurting me for a few days now. Its not agonizing pain but its the kind of pain you get when you eat or drink something really cold. So I need to find a dentist before it gets any worse. Wish me well people, I hate dentist with all my being! (I'm already crying...)
I've been battling with administrative stuff for months now which means hours on the phone, lots of money spend of postage and favors, so I'm just praying so hard that it will be over really soon as the wait is getting to me. So pray for me you guys!!
Oh and I need to write about my London experience yesterday. I think that was my worst trip to London ever and some sales assistants at beauty counters are just rude and soooo unsanitary I was in shock.

Randomness and a great find!

I'm preparing a post about foundation (which will be a follow up post from the skincare post) and I'll post that during the weekend.
In the meantime I wanted to share with you guys something I found yesterday about finding out what your foundation shade is based on a foundation you already own.
This is great if you have a product you can't swatch or if you want to try out different foundation but don't know which shade to pick.

So after a few minutes of research I found this great chart on Temptalia where you can find out what shade you could be on different foundations. There are a lot listed and its based on MAC foundation "codes".
It is great because as users you can add your own foundation matches as well as alternatives.
You can also add a makeup brand and share!
So please if you can build the chart up and share/spread the world it would be great and very helpful to a lot of people out there!

Lash Love

Just a quick haul to show you the eyelashes that arrived last week.
Here's the post in which I elaborate more about where I got them and at what price.
Lets get started with some pictures!

They arrived in a box wrapped in a really cute paper

In that cute box were 18 different but equally fabulous falsies

I'm very happy with the selection and there is definitely something for different occasion!

In the box was also a handy eyelashes box

And Cindy (the owner of the shop) was so kind and sent me a free NYX lipstick.
Now you know I've bought quite a few of these and you know how much I love them so the surprise was very welcome indeed.

This is in "Thalia" which is a color I didn't have and was in my wishlist.

Since this is about the lashes here are some of my favourites

I have already tried them and I have to say I love the quality of these!
I have used some MAC eyelashes a few time but mostly some drugstore brands and some bought on ebay as well and I have to say these ones are the best for me.
They are subtle and easy to handle, extremely soft and manageable.
So I'm very very happy with my purchase.

At the moment I have about 30/40 pairs of eyelashes and I'm so so tempted to buy some more from Cindy if only the hubby would give me my card back...

Here is a NYX haul that I bought from Cherry Culture and other stuff.
The website had 70% sale a few weeks ago so I took advantage and got myself some great bargain!

This is the lot (Minus the Illamasqua stuff)

I got 8 NYX lipstick ($1 each)

All in all I'm so pleased with everything that I bought and now its time to start playing!! :P

I just wanted to write a post about you guys just to express my gratitude and just say how much you all mean to me (don't worry not in a creepy kind of way...)


First I want to say welcome to all my new followers, I'm so happy to have you guys on board my small journey and hope I can entertain you and learn from you guys.
There is a lot of talent out there on the web and I'm so glad that I decided to join this beautiful community a few months ago.
Granted my makeup spending has spiraled out of control since I stared the whole blogging thing but I don't regret a single penny of it!

I am learning a lot from reading people's blogs and watching their videos and from the comments left by you guys on this blog so you guys deserve a big hug for making my journey so peaceful and enjoyable.

Again thank you thank you thank you for all the lovely comments and support and I'm so excited for February as I'll be receiving a whole lot of stuff and can't wait to have a play around and of course share.
