MUA complete review!

Hello Biuties!
Right, here are all my thoughts on the MUA range.

-Lip Products-
1-Lipglosses: I absolutely love the colors of this, its a has nice gold glitters and definitely reminds me of NARS Orgasm illuminator. It is less sticky and tacky than the other type of gloss but still quite sticky. For 1 its an ok product. I wouldn't buy it again though!
2-Lipsticks: They are very creamy however do not stay on the lips long at all. Its a shame because they have pretty shade...
3-Lipglosses(tube):I really don't like these, again it doesn't stay on long, it smells disgusting and I think that the glitters are quite big. Even though its cheap I wouldn't buy any again! Definitely something to leave on the shelves...
1=lipstick 2=lipgloss 3=liquid eyeliner

-Eyes Products-
1-Liquid eyeliners: I absolutely HATE this product with all of my being which is a shame because its a nice color! I think its just too watery and such a pain to apply! When I applied it I felt like I was trying to line my eyes with colored water! I'm really trying to find something nice to say about this but I can't... its a horrible eyeliner and isn't worth your money! Also it stains like nobody's business!

Numbers= shade numbers

2-Eyeshadows:
I do like the eyeshadows, I think that they are worth a look. I don't like the fact that they are quite greasy and when you touch them you might think that they are soft but they actually slip. Personally I don't mind that as much as I mind the shimmers in some of the colours. Some colours are sooo shimmery its ridiculous.
That bright green color could have been a really beautiful color but its so shimmery that the pigmentation isn't that great and it tends to look more gold than green.
However there are some things that I like about them.
The darker colors are nicely pigmented and look beautiful, and would definitely work on any skintone. If I had known I would have skipped the lighter colors as I don't find them that special at all.
One colour has become my absolute love and its the shade #1. I adore this color as a hightligth for my brow bone. I love that when I have it on and take pictures you can see how that color lightens the area and a little definitely goes a long way. I would definitely buy that one again in a heart beat. I haven't tried it on the face and don't plan on doing that just because I think its just too light to be used on my face.
One last thing: the matte eyeshadows. Honestly don't bother with them! I find them extremely chalky and not pigmented at all. They are just too powdery and no matter the shade you pick up it would still look like baby powder...

Nail polish: I really don't care about it, the smell is pretty strong and I had to put 3 coats on my nail for it to look ok. It streaks a lot and again I think its just too watery...

All in all I think that it was a goo idea to release a 1 pound range however the execution fell a bit short! I definitely wouldn't buy any other product from the brand unless they change the formula or they release a gorgeous new eyeshadow.
If you really want to try something from the range I would suggest picking up some of the eyeshadows as well as possibly lipsticks if you really want. For the rest I personally think it would be a waste of money :( sorry!

I hope this was helpful to some of you guys, I know that some of you were waiting for this post and hope your appetite has been satisfied :))

  3. Thanks for the great review! I've heard good things about the eyeshadows before so I'm going to have a little swatch myself, and maybe check out the lipsticks :)

  4. I love the look of the #5 eyeshadow, but that greasiness is just offputting :(
