Happy New Year!

Hello Biuties!

I know I have been MIA for the past week, but I'll get back on top of things next week.
The hubby is still ill so everything that has to be done falls in my hands and that doesn't leave much time for makeup and all.
Anyways!

I wish you all a really happy new year,

I hope that this next year will bring you lots and lots of happiness, good health, love and friendship and as I always add, a little more money!

Personnaly, I hope that I will finally settle down with my husband where we want to be (Its about damn time!)
I hope for good health, for good hair (lol) and a mighty wallet.
I hope that everyone in my family have what they want.
But its not just about me, I hope that the world will finally come to peace, that all the leaders learn from past conflicts and put their nation's interest first for once.
I hope that my beautiful Africa can wakeup and fight against all the ill treatments and abuse of our governments. I hope that the children of the world be children and live to play and don't worry about their next meal and be scared to fall asleep.
I really do hope that all the suffering of so many people end, and I know its a long shot but Rome wasn't build in a day, it will take time but we will get there!

Hello all my biutiful followers!

Christmas is finally here and I'd first of all would like to wish you all a merry, happy, and cheery Christmas!
I hope everyone is spending it with a loved one and if presents are part of the equation I hope you will all be pleased!

I actually don't do anything on Christmas day, it probably is a french thing as we party the night before Christmas and spend Christmas in our pajamas with family and friends and with a huge hangover!
For me it will be a day spend with my husband (yay he made it! despite all the delays)in front of the tivo in our pajamas and definitely hangover :)

Yesterday was loads of fun and my menu was a success, I'll put pics up as soon as I upload them on the computer.
It was my first Christmas without my parents there, as a married woman and with my husband. OH and also it is my first Christmas under cold weather!!

Anyways have a beautiful day people and don't forget to love and be loved :))

Its just simple and natural, nothing too fancy.
Between the cleaning and cooking and shopping I need to look fresh and don't want to spend more than 10 minutes on my face.

Well, I did upload a video and it isn't working because I put a song on there that is copyrighted and stuff so I have to change it. :(
Its 3.30am and I'm in no mood to deal with it now but there still is some good news

As for the golden eye tutorial I'll remove the song and put something else instead and will have it up tomorrow as well!

Today's look was gold!
I admit its not really a day look, it might be more appropriate to wear it for a night out or something
But I just don't care, I love the boldness of it
I received compliments and I just love that look!

Making the video made me realized how slow I actually am at putting makeup on.
I had to trim 58 minutes of video to 10... needless to say it was challenging!
Anyways I hope you like!
Sorry for the video quality again, I am playing around with some settings and stuff and I hope I'll get the hang of all this sooner than later!

vloging isn't easy!!

Hello Biuties!

I had a whole bunch of videos ready for today but when i started to edit, there was no sound
All 4 videos had no sound!!
I'm so so angry its unbelievable... but hey that's life.
So hang in there and I'll do them again tomorrow.
The contest was supposed to end today but since I'm so busy with buying all the Christmas presents I'm hardly at home.
So I've decided to extend it until monday so that I have the weekend to focus on what I have to get done and spend the week taking care of the giveaway.

Brushes brushes brushes...

Hello Biuties!
I'm no expert whatsoever on brushes, and what brush does what is the last thing on my mind.
I have 1 brush for each task and I sometimes find that it limits me in achieving certain looks
For example the 139 brush from MAC is the only brush I use on my eyes.
I apply eyeshadow with it, I blend with it, I work on my crease with it. I do absolutely everything with it except use it as a liner.

So this post is a question to you guy to help me out sort this brush thing out.
What is your perfect brush for each task: for eyeshadow, blending, creasing, eyebrows, face, foundation, cheeks, highlight, contour... anything just name it!
I'm looking foward to reading you answers!

Today I spent the day in London doing more chritsmas shopping with my brother.
I had vowed to buy nothing for myself, I just bought some hair products (2/3 products) that I actually needed, and saw a few things that I thought I just had to have but I kept strong and walked away!!!

I found this on Etsy yesterday and just thought a lot of you would love the style of it.
I think its really cute and although I don't have one myself I think it great for winter as not only does it look great but it will keep you warm and stylish at the same time!
I love the versatility of it, you can put it around your neck, on your head, however you want to put it.

Though I plan on making mine myself as I can crochet.

All I have to do now is find the wool and a needle big enough.
I just hope I will be finished before the end of the winter...

Haul: Sleek, BarryM & Lush

Hello Biuties!

Here's the latest haul, stuff bought this week instead of buying christmas gifts!!!

First item is a Sleek Makeup face contour kit in "Dark"
I was so surprised to see that specially as its not even on the Sleek website.
The kit contains a pressed powder and a highlight powder.

The next things I bought were BarryM Nail paints in "Rasberry" and "Wild Purple"

And to finish a Lush "Ice Blue Soap"
