Wedding Wedding Wedding...

Hello Biuties!!!
Its Sunday morning and its 7am, I can't sleep as I'm all stressed out!!!
As you know I'm getting married at the end of the month, in 6 days exactly!!!
AHHHHH
6 DAYS!!!
although its just a civil ceremony at the registrar office and a small lunch who knew how much organization needs to be done!!
I've yet to taste the cake, the baker keeps pushing the date saying the oven isn't working too well so I'm getting worried...
I don't even know what to wear probably a suit.
And the biggest part is that our parents are going to finally meet and we are going to meet each others parents... I know after 6 years of being together you would think it would happen earlier...
And I'm just praying that everything will go perfect as everyone is flying in from far away (his mom is coming al the way from the Caribbeans and my parents from Dubai)
There was already one deception last week, my sister can't attend the wedding because she won't get her visa in time :( and now I have to find another witness...
I was devastated but I've got to keep on moving!
The good thing is that its a tiny wedding, in all we'll be 10 people
The "Big" wedding will be next year, the whole church and white dress thing will happen then and boy do we need to save big time!!!!
Anyways, I'm done rambling!
It will be an exiting and hectic week and I'll make sure to update on everything
with pictures of course :))

For now I need to decide on my hairstyle for the day so please tell me which one do you thing would suit me best, Picture 1, 2 or 3?

MAC prices and why am I not in the States..??

Hello Biuties!
I was reading up this morning about the new MAC feature on the American website.
You can buy a palette with the eyeshdows or blushes and receive it all in place.
You just have to pick your colors, place them on the palette, order and it will come as you created them.

All for $177, that's £107!!!
I love the feature and I want it!!!
When I did a quick conversion to see the price in pounds I realised how much buying MAC is cheaper in America and I'm feeling so robbed.
A MAC eyeshadow pro pan is £6.50 and here in the UK we buy it at £8.50!!!!!
But the worse is the pro palette themselves...
The 15 pro palette is £7 and we buy it at £10!!!!!
I'm so angry right now...
I just can't stop thinking about the fortune I could have saved...
Buying 15 eyeshadows included in the pro palette is £137 with the UK prices, and buying all of that in the states makes you save £30 and that is a lot!
I'm just thinking of all the possibilities in my head right now and I'm not happpppyyyy!!!
If only i knew someone in the states some bargains would have been made for sure!
Oh well :( I'll be dreaming numbers now...

Is one product enough?!

I was looking at my makeup "collection" today and realized how uneven I was in my choice of products.
I have a lot of eyeshadows, nail polishes, lipsticks and eyeliner pencils but just 1 brand of mascara, 1 brand of liquid eyeliner, 2 foundations, 1 type of blot powder and 3 blushes...
I don't know why but I feel like I don't need tons of mascaras or liquid eyeliners or anything else.
I try to tell myself that tons of eyeshadows is alright and for the rest having one is just fine.
Although I'm happy sticking with what I know and have I don't find myself exited about mascaras or foundation or liquid eyeliner.
Is that weird??!
Let me know what you think about sticking to 1 single product and not explore the rest... and is one product enough?

Also something that I don't understand is lip liners...
what do they do, how do you use them, why???
I just can't get my head around them... so if you have an explanation, feel free to comment for me :)))

Poll and Product of the week

Last week's poll showed that a majority of you guys spent under £20 per month on makeup, a close second was between £20 and £50, 2 between £50 and £100 and no one above that.
I'm now inspired to spend a lot less, I'll try to limit myself to 1 product per week. And no splurging!!
=====

This week's poll question is as follow:
How many times a week do you wear makeup?
Answer on the top right hand-side!
I wear between 4-5 times a week. I don't put any makeup on during the weekends as I just stay home and relax and I'm usually doing the dirty jobs (cleaning, cooking, tidying, a bit of diy)
Looking foward to reading your answers!

======

My product of the week this week has to be my BarryM blusher!

Its so so so pigmented and a little definitely goes a long way!
Oh and it does stay on alllll dayy!!
If you don't have it get it
If you can't get it find someone to get it for you!
Its great value for the price and it compliments any skintone.
Love it!

Would you buy this?!

Hello Biuties!!
I thought that I would write a post about some beauty products that I feel are uncommon and test your adventurous side!!
Just let me know if you would definitely try them... or slap them with a pass!

A vibrating mascara...
I saw the add somewhere last week and was so puzzled I had to research it.
Its Maybeline NewYork "Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara"
On the website it says:

"Discover the power of vibration. Our motor pulses the brush up to 100x a second like no hand can. Powers the formula through the lashes for an anti-clump result.
Pulse Perfection with vibration separates precisely and sculpts lashes perfectly.
A new lash look Pulse Perfection goes beyond volume & length for a flawless fan of lush, perfect lashes. "

I don't know how I feel about a vibrating thinguy near my eyes so although I'm so intrigued itS a pass for me!!!
But seeing the result might change my mind... I don't know this product actually confuses me LOl
For a great review watch Clumps of Mascara review video HERE!

Next comes "Eyebrow Laser Hair Removal"...
Having the right eyebrow shape is very important and maintaining the eyebrow's look is also as important as you don't want to end up looking beautiful with bushy and untamed eyebrows.
There are a lot of solutions out there for that: threading, waxing, plucking or even tinting (is that a real word?!)
But LASER!! I think its going a bit too far specially for such a small area.
However, it's actually becoming increasingly popular...
Personally I would pass... Laser is painful and can leave you with scars and you need multiple appointments for the "treatment" to be complete. Its just too much hustle for me, I'd rather stick to my plucking...
So would you rather stick to the "traditional" ways or go for the permanent solution??

Looking foward to see who's adventurous and who is just too freaked out just like me LOl

BarryM Blusher

How exited was I when I found out BarryM was coming out with blushes!!!!
And I was even more exited when I saw them on the shelves at my local Superdrug.
Unfortunetely I couldn't swatch all of them as "someone" was breathing down my neck asking if I REALLY needed this...
I looked at him straight in the eyes, said yes, took the brightest blush of the bunch and ran to the till... Lol
And of course bought him a bar of chocolate to distract him!!
I got blusher #4 which is "Rasberry"
But I think I'll also get the orange one, blusher #5 "Apricot"

So far I love the color
It really is pigmented I just hope the color stays on long enough!
Anyone else got their BarryM Blusher?! What's your opinion?

And just a quick other haul:
I needed another black eyeliner pencil and got this one.
Maybeline NewYork Line Definer in "Black Onyx "
It glides on beautifully and the swatch below is of 1 single passage. Additionally doesn't smudge too much and the color is quite intense.
I'll be sure to share my full opinion on that one soon!

Tried to smudge it...

Find Of The Week!

This week's Find of the Week isn't something I have yet...
But I'm so in love with it!
Its MaxFactor "Lipfinity" lipstick range.
I swatched them on my hands during the week at a Superdrug and love the range of colors, texture and finish.
They are like Revlon Colorstay lipcolors but 10 times better!!
I think I'm in love (yes again!)
The only problem is that it costs £10 and I can't bring myself to spend £10 for 1 product.
I'll have to find someone who will be willing to offer me this. Lol

Aren't the colors gorgeous?! I can't wait to try one on and give a full judgement!
I specially love love love that hot pink its staring me right in the eyes with so much love...
I know they have names but I can't remember them...
And I have to say they do not budge!!!
After it dried I tried to remove the swatches by rubbing them out but it didn't even smudge one bit. Not a tiny bit!!
I tried removing them with a wipe but OMG I almost had to rub my skin raw to get it all out.
I'll keep dreaming about it until I get it...
Let me know if you've ever tried it and your opinion on it!

Randomness!

Hello Biuties!!!
Although today is friday, I feel like its saturday!!
Its 3:20 pm and I'm still in my pyjamas (ain't nothing wrong with that!)
I'm doing a massive clearout in my closet and under the bed and all that and all I can say is I'm so so exhausted!!
I started at 10am and I'm still at it, all sweaty and full of dust!!
So far I got out 2 bin bags full of clothes, 1 bag of magazines/books and I haven't done the sheets yet!
I don't even know where all that stuff was hiding but since I'll be moving soon I need to get my clearing out done.
Oh and later I have my handbags to sort out...
I know there will be tears!

Just wanted to post something real quick to say "Hi" to all you guys out there.
Oh and Sorry for the blog looking so rought during the week,
I have been "experimenting" with new layouts and gadgets and stuff and now the look is final!!
(Well at least for the next few weeks)

Hope you like it!
Enjoy your friday and your weekend,
I will be posting my blog of the week tomorrow as well as my find of the week!

Product of the week!

That one was an easy one for me.
Its my 2True blusher in shade #4
I use it almost everyday, Its a beautiful color and matches so so well with my skintone.
And I think I'm in love!!!

I mainly use it with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in "Brunette"
It adds to it an extra glow and intensifies the burnt color a bit more.
