Ramblings

Hello again!
I'm still feeling sick but had to go out today anyways as I had an early meeting plus its shopping day :D
But I didn't buy anything.
However I did a whole lot of browsing!!!
I went to MAC and spent like 30 minutes just swatching every single eyeshadow on display and some lipsticks.
The counter ladies were looking at me like a was mad or something but they left me to my business thinking that I would give them a whole list of what I wanted.
But I left with a single foundation pump :))
I wanted to get the swatches because I want to buy some pro pans on the MAC website and I needed to have an idea of the colors since everyone knows that the pictures a such lies!!
Then I went to Superdrugs and took a look around at the cosmetics and stuff and was so so surprised to see a new Barry M dazzle dust and it was mate!!!
I was like OMG I need that one! So I'll probably get it next week.
Its #93 "Block Blue"

Next I checked out the new Barry M Lip Gloss Wands and OMG they are so pigmenteeeeeed!
There is that orange that I swatched and its truly truly orange [Tropical Tango]
I actually swatched them all and I really loved them all, specially the red ones.
So I'll have to go get me some next week as well :D

I think that's all I have to ramble about and there will probably be more to come since I'm bored so sorry guys :D !!!

This week's nail color is "Pink Rose" from GOSH

I didn't think it was going to be that pink, I don't know why but in my mind is was paler than this.

Anyways I love it!

The only problem is that on its own I find that its a bit too matt so I added a transparent glossy top coat to give it that extra shine!

REVIEW: Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Lipcolor

Hello Biuties!

I present to you Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Lipcolor in

"Top Tomato"

This was an impulse buy, I've been looking for a nice bright red lipstick and swatched this and absolutely loved the color and how glossy it was and the pigmentation was mad!!
So I bought and was so excited to try it

But once home the excitement ended!!

Once you put it on it looks like this

When you put it on it starts by being glossy and soft and creamy
After a minute it becomes mate a bit sticky and the color look boring :(
And the smell isn't pleasant!

So I decided that I would put some lipgloss (MAC clear lipglass) on top to give it a bit more life and it started like this:

BUT after a few minutes and rubbing the lips what I ended up with was horrible!!

At this point I was ready to rule it out and call it a day, tell everyone not to buy it and save those 7 pounds...

But I didn't want to give up and decide to give it another try

What I did:
Apply the lipcolor
Let it dry for up to 5 minutes
Apply clear gloss other lip confitionner
Rock you hot red glossy lips!!

And this is the result!:

[The key is to let the lipcolor dry and at that point I swear it will not budge!!

WARNING:

Do not use colored lipgloss that has glitters or shimmers in it, as time will pass the lipgloss will wear off and you will end up with a dodgy dry red color on your lips with glitters. It will look just wrong and a mess!!!

Gosh Waterproof Velvet Touch Eye Liner
(£4.89 each [Superdrug offer 3 for 2])

A few days ago I reviewed 2 other Gosh eyeliners and loved them so much that I had to buy some more!
So here they are!

The Silver looks blue en camera but its actually very silvery and the gold looks like silver on picture but it really is gold. (Just to clarify!)
I actually saved £9.78 because of the Superdrug deal!

How great is that!!

It's a gorgeous color with golden shimmers
It didn't show really well on camera when I tried to swatch it but I put it on yesterday and here's what it looked like!

Absolutely love those shimmers!! And it reminds me of MAC mineralize blushes!
[don't mind my eyebrows I need to pluck them them but I feel lazy!]

I decided to stop buying nail products for a while because I don't have space for anymore :(

But here is what I bought Friday :D

I love those colors!! Specially "Wham" is is the perfect shade of grey I have found so far!

Sorry the swatches look so messy, but it was done quickly so you could have an idea of the colors.

Color: "Double Decker Red" "Azure"
I'm so in love with the red! Can't wait to have it as a hot NOTW

Pastel polish
Pale greyish green with blue reflects. Very pretty but you need 3/4 coats to make the color even.

Haul Lip products

Hello Biuties!

Here are the lip products I bought Friday, I tried them on real quick yesterday and will just give my first impressions, I need to explore some more!

2True lipglosses (3 for £5)

I tried them on and after a minute I thought I was having an allergic reaction to them because my lips were seriously tingling.
Then I read the bottle and found out they were plumptuous lipglosses!
I already have big lips that I love and don't need them to be plumper so that was not such a good surprise but at least the colors are gorgeous!

I have a lot to say about this lipcolor so I'll do it in a separate post, will link it!

NYC Lipsticks (£2 each)

#405B -- Blue Rose
I adore this color!! It reminds of MAC's Romping eyeshadow. Its fuchsia pink with blue/purple reflects, I just love it!

#414B -- Lilac Dream
I don't know why its called Lilac because its no wear near purple in my eyes. Its a coraly brown on the tube but it actually comes out peachy pink when you swatch it. Its a weird color but I love it.
