I'm still standing :)

Hello Biuties!

I know it has been absolute ages dare I say almost years that I haven't updated anyone on anything and I'm truly sorry for that.
I have been thinking for the longest time of how to write this post. You guys are dear to my heart and I haven't been a very nice person leaving you all hanging like that.

So here's what happened to me: life.

A little over a year ago the hubby and I moved into our own house so there was all of the moving to take care of and since it is our first house there were loads of furniture and house related stuff to buy. We had no bed or closet let alone somewhere for me to put all of the makeup. So makeup had to be put on the back burner for a while. I had a dressing table custom made for me to put all of the makeup in so at least they're now in their home lol.
After we gently settled into our new life there was work to deal with and I wasn't at home most of the time therefore I just had no time to post or film anything!
Then the hubby and I decided to start up our own business and again no time to take care of myself and the blog. Then family matters came into play and when things like that happen you just don't have the heart to keep on with "superficial" things and want to get back to being close to the people around you and spend time with them instead of on the computer.
To make a long story short, life happened and before all of this I was a student so I had time to keep up with the blogging world and live my life and now its just a question of better managing my time between the blog and life.

I have to confess in the pass year I haven't even bought any makeup (except foundation)! Not even a single lipstick lol but at least my wallet and the hubby were very very happy about that lol.
I love love my blog and it's something that makes me feel very proud and kind of made me grow so there is no way I am shutting it down.
I am not fully coming back right now, I plan on posting at least once a week mostly during the weekends and fully get into it next year once I get the hang of managing my time better.

In the meantime I have created a facebook page simply called LilBiuty and plan on being on there every day, posting various things so don't hesitate to like the page and come hang out!

Before ending this post I have to say thank you to all of you who continue to follow me, those who sent emails and messages asking what was going on, when am I planning on coming back and all. I'm sorry I couldn't answer all of you but I promise I read every single message.
You all have a special place in my heart and I thank you for caring this much!

Until the next post take care and here's loads of kisses

And don't forget to join me on facebook!

Searching for...

Hello Biuties!
This is a really short post not about makeup but about the blog.
I am looking for a web designer to juz up my blog, make it look less like a blog but more like a website.
Nothing too drastic but something pretty and me :)

So if you or anyone you know is in the "business" or if someone did your website and you are willing to share please let me know!
I am of course willing to pay a reasonable price.
Thanks in advance biuties :)

Oh and blogging shall resume shortly, life is a bit hectic at the moment, I am furniture hunting as I'll be moving normally this week so I don't have a minute to myself!

MUFE Flash Color Base Review

Hello Biuties!
Today's review is on this marvelous little colored case from Make Up For Ever!

This palette contains creamy and pigmented flashy colors to create an array of looks, they can be used on the eyes, lips and cheeks (be aware that some colors are not advised to be used on the eyes or the lips) on their own or as bases.
Just imagine the number of things that can be done with this!!!
You get 70g of products in a clear case and each color is contained in its own "box".
These Flash colors come in various forms, individual pots (7g) or in stick form (20g). Also the colors in this palette aren't the only colors available, you can get purple, lighter greens or pinks, or various shades of green and blue if you buy them individually.

Onto the good, the bad and the ugly truth!

MAC Prolongwear Foundation Review

Hello Biuties!
I know that this review has been long overdue but rather late than never right!
For a review of the Pro Longwear concealer just click HERE!

MAC says:
A long-wear foundation that gives up to 15 hours of wear in any environmental condition. Lightweight and creamy, applies smoothly to provide sheer to medium coverage. Even in hot and humid conditions, controls oil to keep skin fresh, natural and flawless. Provides everyday SPF protection.

Pro Longwear Foundation

{ LOVE }
  • The coverage: A lot of people say that it is medium coverage but on me I find that it gives medium to full coverage. I also think that although it is lighter than the studio fix fluid (which to me is quite a thick formula) it gives me better and fuller coverage than its sister.
  • Longevity: This foundation stays on all day! I live in a really humid and hot place and despite that the foundation doesn't melt and stays put no matter what! When I sweat I no longer have to worry about my foundation melting and leaving streaks all over my face which is such a relief! I can wipe my face with a tissue and know that the foundation won't rub off. Heaven!
  • Something that should also be said is that since I have oily skin it isn't easy to keep the oily T-zone oil free for longer than 3 hours but with this foundation I can go on for 4-5 hours without needing much of a touch up and this is major!
